Off The Menu

Off The Menu events offer Chef’s a chance to create the food they love with no compromises. Often menus are created with local tastes in mind. Our events provide them the opportunity to prepare dishes exactly as they wish, sharing foods that might otherwise not make the menu.  This is a great opportunity to try new things!

Our Next Event:

Love Trying New Things?
Off the Menu events allow chefs to make authentic food without any compromises for local tastes. These are events suited for people who like to try new things and are willing to be a little adventurous. We know that you will understand that there will be no substitutions or alternative dishes provided.

Allergies and Intolerances
Because we want to allow our chef partners to create without limits, we cannot adjust food for allergies or intolerances. If this is a concern for you, please read the menu carefully before you buy a ticket. The menu will list the items in detail, including if there is seafood, gluten, nuts, dairy or eggs. If you have any specific concerns regarding foods that may be on the menu, please contact us before buying tickets.  The dishes are meant to be served as they would be eaten in their own country and authenticity requires being true to those traditions.

No refunds.
We know that you appreciate that the restaurant is creating a special meal just for this event, including advance purchases of special foods that normally are not part of their pantry. Because of that please keep in mind that we cannot issue a refund once a ticket is sold.

Group seating.
If you’re checking us out we’re pretty sure that you share our belief that food is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. That’s why this event will be open seating with an eye to fostering a social environment. You’ll have a chance to meet new people who love food as much as you do! There will be no private or pre-arranged seating provided.

Alcoholic Beverages
The price of the ticket includes unlimited alcohol-free beverages such as tea, pop, and juice. Alcoholic beverages, like wine and beer, are not included in the ticket. We just ask that you pay your bar tab at the end of your meal.

Gratuity is not included in the cost of the ticket. If you have enjoyed your evening and your server, please consider leaving a gratuity for the staff to share. They would much appreciate it as large dinners always involve extra effort for them. How much one tips is entirely a matter of personal preference, however, we do often get asked about how much to tip.  It is common practice for large groups to tip 18%, however, this should be up to the discretion of each individual.

No Substitutions or Alternatives.
We know we’ve covered this, but it’s so important we think it’s worth repeating. The menu is set, and there will be no substitute dishes or alternatives provided. If this is a concern please look over the menu carefully.
